Meet Hayses Annie, a striking 2017 AQHA red roan mare with the kind of foundation pedigree and color that turns heads in and out of the arena. Bred from powerhouse cow-horse lines including Blue Valentine, Joe Quincy, Doc Bar, and Hancock, Annie is a stellar broodmare prospect who’s also broke to ride and currently being worked 5-days a week.

 

Annie is well-trained and knows her job—she just needs more miles under saddle after a year off (no fault of her own). She’s currently working 5 days a week, steadily regaining condition and confidence. With a forward, responsive style, she’s best suited for a confident intermediate to experienced rider who enjoys a little go and is comfortable putting some time on a talented mare.

 

She has great ground manners, stands quietly for the farrier and vet, and loads with ease. While she's made incredible progress under saddle, it's worth noting she's reared twice (non-maliciously)—likely out of confusion, not intent—and has shown no ongoing issues when worked consistently and fairly. She's ready to keep progressing with the right partner.
